MY APPROACH TO THERAPY

As a clinical psychologist and trained psychotherapist, I can offer you…

  • Sensitive listening and direct, honest feedback about your problems.

  • Help identifying and working to change harmful, reoccurring behavior(s).

  • Expert guidance regarding how to recognize, tolerate, understand, and adaptively “use” the full spectrum of human emotions (e.g. anger, sadness, grief, anxiety).

  • Coaching on how to “re-work” problematic relationship dynamics and/or patterns in the context of a personally meaningful but safe and professional relationship.

  • A unique opportunity to take a realistic, in-depth look at your own mind + how it works!

In the first couple of sessions, we’ll begin a discussion about some of your most difficult or pressing issues and spend some of our time just learning about and getting to know each other. If it feels like a good match, we’ll move forward with weekly or more frequent sessions until we’ve sufficiently resolved your problems.
